Requires Node.js 20.x ≥20.17, 22.x ≥22.13, or ≥23.5, and Chrome/Chromium.

Install WTAgent

npm install -g wtagent

Open a test project and start

mkdir wtagent-demo
cd wtagent-demo
wtagent

A dedicated Chrome profile opens. Sign in with your own web AI account when prompted. ChatGPT is the default provider.

Type a task in the terminal

create /tmp/helloworld.c and run it.

Choose your web AIwtagent --model claude

Replace claude with: chatgpt · deepseek · gemini · grok · kimi · glm

Generate images and music

Images saved to your project

Describe an image in your task. ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok generates it in the conversation, and WTAgent saves the image locally so you can use it in your project.

wtagent --model chatgpt --once "Generate a blue robot illustration and save it locally."

Music with Gemini

Create music with Gemini's native Music tool and save the track locally. WTAgent keeps the original media and also extracts M4A audio when FFmpeg is installed.

wtagent --model gemini --type music --once "Create peaceful instrumental piano music, no vocals."

Uses your logged-in account and quota. Availability depends on the provider and selected model.
